East Aurora, NY — Cenergy Sports & Entertainment and Station C, LLC have merged to form Cenergy Communications. The combined agency will expand its operations in East Aurora, New York and Queensland, Australia to serve its growing client list.

The newly formed Cenergy Communications has an impressive national and international client list including the Toronto Blue Jays, Cleveland Indians, Superstation WGN, Charter Communications, TNT, Wyoming County Bank, Allergan Pharmaceuticals, Western New York Computing Systems, Robitaille Relocation, Robinson Cruises and Aurora Ventures. Following the merger, Cenergy Communications boasts 15 full time and contract staff and projected client billings for 2004 approaching $1 million.

The agency principals are Duncan Shaw, Thomas Mooney, and John Cimperman. Duncan Shaw and Thomas Mooney formed Station C in May, 2001 after collaborating on marketing and creative services projects for nearly 10 years. Shaw is a noted business consultant, author and entrepreneur and is Managing Director of the firm’s Australian office. Mooney heads up the creative team and spent nearly a decade developing creative marketing programs for Fortune 500 companies, as part of New York Agency and Mills Hall Walborn, in Rochester, NY. John Cimperman, former marketing officer for the Los Angeles Kings, Buffalo Sabres and Adelphia Communications, formed Cenergy Sports & Entertainment in January, 2002.
